Boomers, MIllennials & Overcoming the Generational Gap
4-Part Video Study
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10
Generational gaps in the workplace are real. They can either bring the best out of every generation represented or drive a wedge between teams and individuals. It all really depends on us!
We often hear that Boomers value loyalty while Millennials value innovation and change. Stereotypes highlight Boomers as narcissistic while Millennials are branded as entitled.
So how to we bridge those generational gaps? How do we combat stereotypes and instead look at every individual as created by God and uniquely wired for the work He has prepared for each of us in advance?
To help us tackle this topic of bridging the generational gap, we invited two subject-matter experts, Danita Bye, best-selling author, speaker and coach, and Mick Ukleja, international authority on leadership training and organizational effectiveness.
This 4-Part Study was designed for individuals and teams to help us:
- Understand general stereotypes about Boomers and Millennials
- Learn about pride and fear characteristics of Boomers and Millennials
- Discover practical ways both Boomers and Millennials can adjust in order to bridge the generational gap in the workplace and value one another's strengths while compensating for each other's weaknesses.
